DCarr Community Solutions is working with Daybreak Non-Profit Housing and an advisory committee of several local agencies to develop a rent subsidy initiative that will provide financial assistance and supports to families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness in Ottawa. By working with existing organizations to help families secure housing, avoid eviction and build a future, it will help to end the cycle of homelessness. 

DCarr Commuity Solutions was instrumental in developing the concept, building community partnerships and obtaining a grant from the Ottawa Community Foundation to build a business plan for the initiative.
